Description of Tool Usage:

This tool is a main landing gear (MLG) axle thread protector used to protect the (MLG) axle and its external threads during wheel, brake and bearing maintenance. This protector is used on airplanes that have not had overhauled axles. The A32098-1 equipment consists of a A32098-2 thread protector assembly and a A32098-3 axle protector assembly, both contained in a storage box.
