Description of Tool Usage:

When an APU is removed or installed with the generator removed, three A49001-17 ballast assemblies are installed for balance of the A49001 hoisting or jacking cradle assembly. The A49001-3 ballast assembly consists of three A49001-17 ballast assemblies contained in a storage box. The A49001-17 consists of 26 lbs of lead or steel ballast and attaching hardware. There are three A49001-17 ballast assemblies required for use with the A49001-84.
