This sling equipment is used on airplanes equipped with CF6-80A and CF6-80C2 engines. This equipment supports the engine while unloading the strut diagonal brace during removal and installation of the brace without removing the engine. The sling equipment consists of an A54001-158 sling assembly contained in a storage box.
