This hold open equipment is used on airplanes equipped with JT9D-7R4D or PW4000 engines. A71030 is used for holding the fan cowl in open position. A71030-32 consists of an A71030-33 left hand hold-open assembly and an A71030-34 right hand hold-openassembly, both contained in a storage box.
