Description of Tool Usage:

This gage equipment is used to check brake pressure after opening a brake line for any reason or replacing a component of the main landing gear braking system. The gage equipment includes four pressure gages. The pressure gages are four inches in diameter, 0 to 5000 psi, with 50 psi graduation intervals. The gages are connected to hoses with hydraulic adapters that are placed downstream of each of the airplane’s brake de-boost valves. F72977-62 gage equipment consists of four F72977-56 hose assemblies, four F72977-64 adapter assemblies, and a storage box assembly.
