Description of Tool Usage:

This adapter assembly is used to install and remove the wheel bearing retaining nut on the main gear wheels. The MIT65B01202-1 tool consists of a steel socket with a 7 inch outside diameter for use on the 5.5 inch hexagonal wheel bearing retaining nut. The socket has a 0.75 inch drive socket to accommodate the use of a standard torque wrench for torquing the wheel nut to a maximum value of 250 ft-lbs.
